FIRST, which stands for “For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology,” is a nonprofit organization founded by Dean Kamen in 1989. Structured around a high-school robotics competition, the FIRST Robotics Competition is much more than just a competition, combining gracious professionalism with technology to create an environment that fosters a deeper appreciation for science and technology.
2022 FRC Season - Rapid ReactIn our 2022 season, we competed with our robot: Switchblade. We participated in the Canadian Pacific Regional. We were excited to get back into FRC after the COVID-19 pandemic! Our team made sure to observe COVID safety measures and everyone had lots of fun at the first regional after the pandemic. We qualified for the FIRST Championship in Houston by winning the Chairman's Award.

2019 FRC Season - Destination: Deep SpaceFor the 2019 season, Team 6390 competed with our robot, Nightmare! However, during our time at the Canada Pacific Regional, we decided to re brand nightmare as Karen! At the Canada Pacific Regional we were unfortunately knocked out in Quarterfinals but received the Engineering Inspiration Award which qualified us for the FIRST Championship in Houston.

2018 FRC Season - FIRST PowerupFor the 2018 season, Team 6390 competed with our robot, Atlas. We participated in the Inaugural Canadian Pacific Regional! We worked hard to secure our first regional win! Winning the Engineering Inspiration award as well, we qualified for the FIRST Championship in Houston.

2017 FRC Season - FIRST SteamworksThe 2017 season was our rookie year. We created our first Robot ever, Maja! We had a successful regional, winning the rookie-all-star award. Qualifying for worlds in our first year was exciting! We thoroughly had a blast in Houston for the FIRST Championship.
